Our Name:

Our ministry name, OneHope, reflects the desire to present the Living Word of God in an engaging way to children and youth all over the world. Jesus Christ is the one and only hope for eternity — and when we present Him to the next generation … lives are transformed.

Quick History Lesson:

OneHope began in 1987 when the nation of El Salvador asked for the Scriptures for every schoolchild in the nation. Today, by God’s grace, the ministry of OneHope has touched over 857 million young lives with God’s Word through our innovative Scripture engagement tools in print, film, web format and much more! Some of these tools that present the Gospel include:

  • The Book of Hope. A Scripture book designed to engage and speak to the heartfelt needs of children and youth within various cultures, clearly showing them God’s redemptive plan through Christ’s life, death, and resurrection.
  • The GodMan film. A live-action, animated re-telling of the story of Christ’s life, innovatively sharing God’s Word with children who can’t read or in places where gospel literature can’t go.
  • God’s Big Story. A resource that helps primary children learn Bible stories and uncover the Scriptures meta-narrative of redemption and restoration through a series of illustrated cards. An accompanying Teacher’s/Parent’s Guide provides lessons for use in weekly Bible study.
  • Stories of Hope. A collection of the basic Bible stories to help families, churches and volunteers build biblical literacy in children and  introduce them to salvation and discipleship.
  • And more.

Research:

Our extensive research project, called the Spiritual State of the World’s Children, ensures that we are delivering the Word to children and youth in the most relevant and effective way, to minister to their heart-felt needs — even as we continue to create new Scripture engagement tools.
